SERVERware 3 System Disk Replacement

When the system disk is damaged, the next procedure should be followed:

First, we need to replace the physical disk in the server.

Then we should reboot the system and boot from the SERVERware 3 installation media.

Follow installation procedure.

Step 1.

On the first screen press next.

Step 2.

On the second screen, choose the type of installation that was previously installed on the processing host or storage controller and press next.

Step 3.

At this step system installation will search the storage disk and if a previous installation is found, you will get this message:

Previous storage detected

We will select yes in this step to continue restoring the system.

Step 4.

In the next step, select the disk on which we will restore the system.

Step 5.

The system will ask you to confirm system setup. Press next to continue.

Step 6.

On the last step, we will press finish. After server reboot, we will have our system fully restored and functional.
