In case you are experiencing issues with starting postfix, you can check below,
Postfix doesn't start
Navigate to
cd /home/servers/telcoware/sm/postfix/var/lib/postfix/ telcoware postfix # ls -lah total 24K drwx------ 2 700 root 4.0K Mar 26 07:03 . drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4.0K Jun 2 2009 .. -rw------- 1 700 700 17 Mar 26 07:39 master.lock -rw------- 4 700 700 1.0K Feb 12 2017 prng_exch mv master.lock master.lock.bak
start postfix with,
/home/servers/telcoware/sh/postfix start
Once started, if you are still experiencing issues where emails are not being sent check the following,
find / -name 'unix.cleanup' /CrackITTW-19567/home/servers/telcoware/sm/postfix/var/spool/postfix/pid/unix.cleanup /home/servers/telcoware/sm/postfix/var/spool/postfix/pid/unix.cleanup
as from the example above, you can see duplicated PID folders, you should navigate to,
/home/servers/telcoware/sm/postfix/var/spool/postfix/ /home/servers/telcoware/sh/postfix mkdir pid chown 700 pid
Once done, restart the postfix service and re-test.
