Here is the script for importing large sipprot white/black lists into SW3 controller database.
http://downloads.bicomsystems.com/sipprot/scripts/sipprot-import.sh
One just has to copy this script along with the white/black lists into CONTROLLER and execute the script once for each list providing file name as an input argument.
At the end go to the SW GUI to trigger the list distribution to all hosts by inserting a temporary address into white list such as 8.8.8.8.
Detailed instructions.
Connect to your new serverware 3 controller via SSH on port 2222 (Linux/MacOS example bellow, but you can use Putty or similar applications for Windows)
In this exam
ssh -p2222 root@%CONTROLLER_IP%
Download the import script.
wget http://downloads.bicomsystems.com/sipprot/scripts/sipprot-import.sh
Download the whitelist and blacklist files from your old serverware 1.X controller or host (the dot (.) at the end of the command is needed):
scp -P2222 root@%OLD_CONTROLLER_IP%:/home/sipprot.whitelist .
scp -P2222 root@%OLD_CONTROLLER_IP%:/home/sipprot.blacklist .
Run the script to import blacklist and whitelist files:
sh sipprot-import.sh sipprot.whitelist
sh sipprot-import.sh sipprot.blacklist
At the end go to the SW GUI to trigger the list distribution to all hosts by inserting a temporary address into white list such as 8.8.8.8.
If for whatever reason the GUI shows a error, please restart your SW services:
/etc/init.d/sw-connector restart
/etc/init.d/sw-wcp restart
Note: The above restart commands will not affect your VPS's.
