HOWTO solve gloCOM desktop outbound call issue


If you are having an issue with dialing out from the gloCOM application but you are able to receive the call, please check what has been set on the following path:


  • Tools --> Preferences --> Phones --> myPhones --> check 'Use Softphone'




In this case, when you have both 'deskphone' and 'softphone' selected, please make sure that you have chose a softphone as the option when dialing out.


You can check this when you click on the 'Phone' icon and got the keypad pop-up. In the lower right corner softphone should be selected, like shown on the screenshot below.
