General :: How to use E.164 format dialing

E.164 format is a general format for international telephone numbers. When dialing, use the following format:


[+] [country code] [subscriber number including area code]


Please note that E.164 numbers can have a maximum of fifteen digits.


First check if PBXware is set into E.164 routing mode:


Master Tenant ---> Settings ---> Tenants (edit master tenant) ---> General Settings (section) ---> Routing mode (field) ---> set 'E.164 routing' ---> Save.


Make sure tenant locality settings are set correctly:


Master Tenant ---> Settings ---> Tenants (edit tenant in question) ---> Locality (section) ---> set Country; Area code; National dialing code; International dialing code (fields) ---> Save.
